Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,572 cases, 3 deaths

The UAE reported a total of 1,572 new Covid-19 infections on May 9.

The new cases were detected, following 203,147 examinations conducted to screen for the virus.

The health ministry also reported 1,560 recoveries in the last 24 hours, raising the number of recoveries to 516,329.

With three additional deaths, the fatality toll has risen to 1,613.

Meanwhile, the case count in the UAE stands at 536,017.
