Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,699 cases, 2 deaths
The overall case count in the UAE stands at 527,266
The UAE has reported 1,699 Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, its health ministry confirmed on May 4.
The new cases were detected, following 179,453 tests conducted to screen for the virus.
A total of 507,706 patients have since recovered from the infection after having contracted it.
Meanwhile, with two additional fatalities, the death toll has risen to 1,598.
