Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,954 cases, 3 deaths
The case count across the UAE has risen to 529,220
The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has reported 1,954 new cases of the Covid-19 infection on May 5, raising the nationwide case count to 529,220.
The new cases were detected, following 204,724 examinations conducted to screen for the virus.
The health ministry also confirmed 1,952 recoveries during the last 24 hours, raising the overall recovery tally to 509,658.
With three additional deaths, the toll now stands at 1,601.
