Home Covid-19 Covid-19 update: UAE reports 2,792 cases, 1,166 recoveries The nationwide case count has risen to 811,029 by Zainab Mansoor January 18, 2022 The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has reported 2,792 Covid-19 cases on January 18. The new infections were detected, following 487,749 tests conducted across the country to screen for the virus. The health ministry announced 1,166 recoveries in the last 24 hours as well, raising the recovery count to 762,379. Three deaths due to Covid-19 complications were also reported, increasing the related death toll to 2,198. Meanwhile, the nationwide case count has risen to 811,029.
