Home Covid-19 Covid-19 update: UAE reports 3,294 cases, highest daily spike in deaths The nation-wide death toll has risen to 1,073 by Zainab Mansoor February 18, 2021 The UAE has reported 3,294 additional Covid-19 infections and 3,431 recoveries on February 18. The new cases were detected as a result of 171,667 tests conducted across the country to screen for the virus. The country’s health ministry also reported 18 deaths, the highest daily rise of fatalities since the virus broke out in the country. A similar number of fatalities was reported on February 11. Meanwhile, the second highest daily increase in deaths, equalling 17, was recorded on February 9.
