The new cases were detected as a result of 166,879 tests conducted to screen for the virus. The death toll, meanwhile, has scaled to 956. The UAE’s health ministry also confirmed that 157,514 doses of the Covid-19 vaccine were administered in the past 24 hours, raising the total to 4,684,658.
