Covid-19 update: UAE reports 996 cases, 2 deaths
The number of recorded cases across the UAE total 718,370
The UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention has reported 996 new Covid-19 infections on August 31, raising the total number of recorded cases to 718,370.
The new cases were detected, after 329,146 tests were conducted to screen for the virus.
The health ministry also reported 1,515 recoveries and two deaths due to Covid-19-related complications in the past 24 hours.
A total of 705,118 patients have recovered from the infection, while the death toll stands at 2,041.
