Home Transport Aviation Disgusting conditions on Saudia flight blamed on deportees A video taken aboard the Airbus A330 plane showed human waste on a toilet seat and tissues littering the gangway by Staff Writer September 7, 2016 Disgusting conditions onboard Saudi Arabian Airlines’(Saudia) first flight from Jeddah to Addis Ababa were allegedly the fault of deportees. A video taken aboard the Airbus A330 plane showing human waste on a toilet seat and tissues littering the gangway attracted international media attention and widespread criticism on social media. Arab News cited a source at the airline as saying most of the passengers on the aircraft were being deported back to Ethiopia. The source declined further comment. The video, posted on Facebook on August 30, has so far attracted 150,000 views and 433 comments. A Saudi citizen who spoke to the publication said passengers should have complained to the country’s General Authority of Civil Aviation and asked for compensation “The crew must always keep the aeroplane clean. It is Saudia’s fault if the crew is understaffed,” Muhammad Al-Saed said. https://www.facebook.com/mabr0k/videos/1248900821795162/ 0 Comments
