Most of Ramadan, which normally reduces business travel in the region, occurred during the month of June this year. In the first half of this year passenger traffic rose 5.8 per cent to 40.51 million people. Cargo handled by Dubai International rose 3.9 per cent to 226,175 tonnes in June, and grew 3.8 per cent to 1.28 million tonnes in the first half of 2016. Only some of Dubai’s air freight traffic passes through Dubai International as another facility, Dubai World Central, handles pure cargo operations. 0 Comments
