Home World Africa Dubai Chamber Of Commerce Opens Ghana Office The office adds to DCCI’s presence in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa. by Robert Anderson October 1, 2014 Dubai Chamber of Commerce & Indsutry (DCCI) has established an office in Ghana, adding to its presence in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, Mozambique and Uganda. The office boasts a business centre expected to boost DCCI’s African operations by allowing Emiratis businesses to setup shop. “We’re established in Ghana, we should be announcing the office very shortly, but its established functioning with a big business centre,” Hamad Buamim, president and CEO of DCCI told reporters on the sidelines of the Africa Global Business Forum in Dubai. He added that DCCI was also looking at operations in other African countries including Senegal as part of a wider strategy to market Dubai as the gateway to Africa. “We are establishing a presence in Africa to facilitate relationships. It’s not an easy way to say we are a gateway but we have to prove it and we try to prove it through the increase of business and finance,” he said. 0 Comments
