Home Industry Real Estate Dubai developer Emaar not participating in Cityscape this year Cityscape, Dubai’s biggest property exhibition, will be held next week by Aarti Nagraj September 6, 2017 Dubai’s biggest listed developer Emaar Properties has confirmed that it will not be participating at the Cityscape Global exhibition set to be start next week. Cityscape, the biggest property event held annually in the emirate, is considered a barometer to judge the state of the local real estate market. In a brief statement, Informa, the organisers of Cityscape Global said: “Emaar has made the strategic decision to forgo its participation at this year’s Cityscape Global exhibition. “The company has opted to refocus its marketing efforts in Dubai, while continuing its involvement in other equally successful Cityscape events in rapidly growing real estate markets to enhance its footprint and repeat the same success that it has achieved in Dubai.” An Emaar spokesperson also confirmed the news. “Cityscape Global has been a significant platform to showcase property developments in UAE and in the region. “While we support Cityscape in its goal of highlighting Dubai’s property sector, Emaar will not be participating in Cityscape Global as part of the strategy to move the complete marketing strategy on digital platforms.” Cityscape Global is set to take place from September 11-13 at the Dubai World Trace Centre this year. The exhibition, set to hold its 16th edition, is hoping to welcome over 1,000 delegates this year.
