Sheikh Hamdan passed away on Wednesday, March 24. He was 75. The dates for re-opening of the pavilion will be confirmed in due course, a statement said. Those who have already purchased tickets will be able to use them on an alternative day, or can request a refund, the statement added. The Dubai Ruler’s Court has announced a 10-day mourning period in the emirate. Flags will be flown at half-mast during the mourning period. Meanwhile, all government departments and entities across Dubai will suspend their operations for three days, beginning Thursday, March 25.
