With a month-long lineup of events, the first week is set to set the stage for health and well-being celebrations. However, due to weather conditions, the DP World Kite Beach Fitness Village will officially open its doors to the public on October 31, while Run and Ride Central welcomes participants from October 30. Dubai Fitness Challenge Week 1 Highlights: Three Fitness Villages have been set up to inspire residents to get active: The DP World Kite Beach Fitness Village offers a variety of classes and workouts starting on October 31, featuring thrilling activities for all ages. Highlights include the Emirates NBD Aqua Park, Sun and Sand Sports Boxing Ring, MIRA Lift – Ride – Row, and Lipton Yoga and Wellness. The RTA Mushrif Park Cycling Centre at Mushrif Park boasts guided bike trails and road tracks, perfect for cycling enthusiasts. Their offerings are available on weekdays from 7 AM to 8 PM and expanded hours on weekends. At Run and Ride Central, located at One Central, fitness enthusiasts can enjoy free classes and access to fitness gear from well-known brands like Adidas and Technogym. They can also collect their bibs for Dubai Ride presented by DP World. Community fitness hubs Numerous venues across the city are hosting free workout sessions, including Dubai Hills Mall, Dubai Silicon Oasis Fitness Hub, Champs Fitness Hub, Fitness First Platinum, City Walk Fitness Hub, Ripe Market Fitness Hub, and Hatta Wadi Fitness Hub, among others. These hubs offer a wide range of activities and classes catering to all fitness levels. Engaging sporting events The Mai Dubai City Half Marathon on October 29 offers a scenic route through Downtown Dubai, while the Spinneys Dubai 92 Cycle Challenge Build-up Ride takes place on the same day for cycling enthusiasts. Additionally, the Dubai Pink Ride aims to raise breast cancer awareness through a cycling or walking experience at Dubai Design District. For triathlon enthusiasts, the GRIT+TONIC Triathlon is set to take place on October 29 at Al Mamzar Beach Park. The event offers various categories for participants of all ages.
