Dubai Properties Launches New Luxury Hotel In Culture Village

Dubai Properties, a subsidiary of state-owned Dubai Holding, has announced the launch of a new luxury waterfront hotel- its third project- in Dubai’s Culture Village district.

The hotel, which is due to open in early 2018, will be one of the first luxury hotels in Culture Village and will be operated by Anantara Resorts and Spa.

It will be located in the centre of the area, directly facing the Dubai creek and will be close to the developer’s new mixed-use project Dubai Wharf, and its luxury residential development Manazel Al Khor.

The new Anantara hotel will comprise 270 guest rooms, a rooftop pool, spa, various F&B and retail outlets along with a 3.8 metre promenade and Marina.

Dubai Properties said it has appointed Das as lead architect for the project with the ground breaking expected to commence in the fourth quarter of this year.

“This is part of a growing portfolio of hotels for Dubai Properties which we will develop in key areas of Dubai,” said Mohammed Al Habbai, chief officer of Urban Planning and Infrastructure at Dubai Properties Group.

Culture Village will be the emirate’s first creek side development that will include residential, commercial, retail, entertainment and cultural components.

Leisure, hospitality and residential projects that are already underway in Culture Village include the luxurious six-star Palazzo Versace Hotel due to open this year and the nearby D1 Residential Tower scheduled for completion in 2014.
