The temporary road closure will occur between the Trade Centre Roundabout towards the Expo Intersection, according to Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA). The closures will coincide with the UAE’s Union Day celebrations as well as the hosting of COP28. The UN climate summit officially kicks off on November 30, with it concluding on December 12. As a result, alternative roads such as the Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road, Sheikh Zayed bin Hamdan Al Nahyan Road, Emirates Road, Al Khail Road, Jumeirah Road, Al Wasl Road, and Al Khail Road will cater to road users. RTA is further advising the public to use public transportation for their commutes.
