The Dubai Sports Council announced on Sunday, November 15, that spectators would be allowed to return to events held in the emirate.
However, venues need to cap the attendance to 30 per cent of their capacity.
The decision followed approvals from The Economic Council of Dubai chaired by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai.
It also received the green light from the emirate’s Supreme Committee of Crisis and Disaster Management, which is tasked with implementing measures to contain the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic.
