Home Industry Retail Dubai’s Ansar Group partners with delivery app yeepeey Ansar Gallery’s customers can now order a range of products without having to pay a delivery fee or markup over in-store prices by Gulf Business March 18, 2022 Home-grown delivery app, yeepeey has activated online ordering and grocery delivery across Dubai from Ansar Group’s flagship store, Ansar Gallery. The hypermarket, located in Karama, offers customers consumer essentials, fresh and dry fruit and pet care products among other items. Using the yeepeey app, customers can now order products without having to pay a delivery fee or markup over in-store prices and get them delivered to their location. Monish Chandiramani, co-founder and CEO of yeepeey, said: “Being the first partner to go live with Ansar Gallery for grocery delivery is a great milestone for Yeepeey in its first year of operations and we’re extremely thrilled to start and grow this partnership with Ansar Group by taking convenience to our users’ doorstep.” Said Hamid Mansouri, deputy general manager of Ansar Group, said the world was seeing a change in consumer habits and growth in ‘quick’ grocery delivery, and “it was important we [Ansar Gallery] extend that service to our customers who may not want to shop in-store but shop online”. Mansouri added: “We’re excited to partner with yeepeey, which is a startup that focuses on customer centricity and grocery delivery in minutes and our customers will now be able to have our products delivered to them at their doorstep.” The grocery delivery app, which launched in 2021, is currently live across Dubai with more than 75 merchants on the app. It features eight verticals, including groceries, pet care, organic food, fresh fruit and vegetables, stationery, specialty shops and bill payments, offering customers more than 50,000 items in its grocery catalogue.
