Home Industry Transport Dubai’s Careem launches three-wheeled bike taxi service The unique vehicles are now serving passengers in Dubai Marina by Staff Writer May 10, 2018 Dubai ride hailing app Careem has officially launched a three-wheeled motorcycle service in partnership with Dubai Taxi Corporation. The taxi bikes, made by Bombardier Recreational Products, were first unveiled at a conference last month. They are intended to be a last-mile public transport option for travel to metro and tram stations. One likely appeal for users will be the ability to squeeze through the lengthy traffic jams that hit the areas during evenings and weekends. Those interested in the service can book it on-demand via the Careem app, Dubai Taxi Corp tweeted this week. The fares will start at Dhs10 ($2.72) for the first 10 minutes and Dhs1 ($0.27) for each additional minute thereafter.
