Home Industry Real Estate Dubai’s Damac awards Dhs58.4m contract for villas at Akoya Oxygen The contract has been awarded to Towers Technology Contracting by Aarti Nagraj April 6, 2017 Dubai developer Damac Properties has awarded a contract worth Dhs58.4m for the main structural works of villas at Mulberry cluster in its Akoya Oxygen project. The contract has been awarded to Towers Technology Contracting Co – Dubai, it said in a statement on Thursday. The grading works, final design and mobilisation works at Mulberry cluster in Akoya Oxygen are all completed. Engineering works and deep service works are in progress, the developer said. No specific timeline was disclosed regarding the completion of the villas. Mohammed Tahaineh, senior vice president – Commercial at Damac Properties, said: “We are content with the pace of progress in development across the various clusters at AKOYA Oxygen. We are confident that Towers Technology Contracting will deliver on our contractual agreement to complete the main structure works of the villas at Mulberry cluster in AKOYA Oxygen in a timely manner, while maintaining quality standards.” Spread across 55 million square feet in Dubailand, Akoya Oxygen include residential properties of various sizes surrounding an 18-hole championship golf course designed by Tiger Woods – which will also feature a clubhouse, restaurants and a pro-shop. The golfer also visited the property to oversee its progress in February. The golf club will be the second in Dubai to be operated by the Trump Organization. Among the main contracts awarded were for various services at its Akoya Oxygen, Damac Hills, Aykon City and Avanti and Merano Tower projects.
