Site mobilisation and enabling work has started with the handover of units scheduled for the third quarter of 2021, a statement said. Located in its Emaar Beachfront island development, Beach Vista is a twin-tower development of 33-storeys and 26-storeys with one-to-four-bedroom apartments. Featuring houses with glass facades and large balconies overlooking the sea, the project sold out earlier this year, with the 375 units recording sales worth Dhs1bn. Facilities include swimming pools, gyms and parking areas at the podium, and high-end retail outlets at the ground level. Residents will also have access to a private beach and leisure and lifestyle attractions including F&B outlets, beachside play areas and retail pop-ups set along a promenade. Ahmad Al Matrooshi, managing director of Emaar Properties, said: “Emaar Beachfront’s first residential launch, Beach Vista has been an overwhelming success recording strong investor response from the UAE and international markets. We are now commencing the construction of Beach Vista residences highlighting our commitment to on-schedule delivery.” Following Beach Vista, Emaar has also launched Sunrise Bay, a new residential project in Emaar Beachfront, which includes a limited collection of one, two, three and four bedroom premium residences. Launched in January as part of the Dubai Harbour project, the 10 million-square-foot Emaar Beachfront will feature residential units, 1.5km of beach and a variety of food and beverage and retail outlets. The wider 20 million sq ft Dubai Harbour project, being developed by Meraas, includes a 1,400-berth marina, cruise ship port, 3.5-million-square-foot shopping mall, events arena, hotels, residential buildings, offices, retail stores and a 135m-tall observation lighthouse located on reclaimed land between the start of Jumeirah Beach Residence and Palm Jumeirah. An internal monorail with links to the Palm Jumeirah and Bluewaters Island, a pedestrian bridge with a jogging and cycling track and water boat stations are among the planned transport links.
