Home Transport Aviation Dubai’s Emirates adds flights to France’s Lyon, Paris The carrier will fly three times a day to Paris on Tuesdays from early August by Robert Anderson July 18, 2018 Dubai carrier Emirates has announced plans to add two additional flights per week to Lyon and one to Paris. The two additional flights to Lyon, from August 2, will increase Emirates’ weekly total to seven. They will be operated by a Boeing 777-300ER with eight first class, 42 business class and 304 economy class seats. Both will follow the current EK081 schedule, leaving Dubai at 2:35pm and arriving in Lyon at 7:30pm before returning at 9:55pm for a 6:15am arrival in Dubai the next day. The additional Paris flight will be every Tuesday morning from August 7. EK071 will leave Dubai at 4:05am, arrive in Paris at 9:25am and depart again for Dubai at 11:25am, landing at 8:00pm. The flight will be operated by a three-class A380 with 14 first class, 76 business class and 429 economy class seats. Emirates said the additions would give travellers from Lyon and Paris more choice for connecting flights to cities in Asia. Low cost carrier Flydubai recently announced it would begin operating some flights from Dubai International’s Emirates Terminal 3 to make it easier for passengers to connect.
