Home GCC UAE Dubai’s Emirates suspends flights from India, Pakistan, other countries until July 15 Passengers who have transited through these countries in the last 14 days will not be accepted to travel from any other point to the UAE by Zainab Mansoor July 3, 2021 Dubai’s Emirates has said that it has suspended all passenger flights from India until July 15. The carrier will be suspending the carriage of passengers from Bangladesh, Pakistan and Sri Lanka to the emirate until the same deadline, it said in another travel update on its website. The decision has been made in line with UAE government directives. Furthermore, passengers who have connected through the aforementioned countries in the last 14 days will not be accepted to travel from any other point to the UAE. UAE nationals, holders of UAE golden visas and members of diplomatic missions who comply with the revised/updated published Covid‑19 are exempt and may be accepted to travel, according to the travel update. Passengers with existing bookings can either retain their tickets for future flights or rebook to another date. Emirates said earlier this week that it expects to resume its inbound flights from India effective July 7. Read more: Flights from India to Abu Dhabi to remain suspended until July 21 – Etihad Emirates’ latest travel update comes shortly after the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MoFAIC) and the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) announced that UAE citizens are prohibited from travelling to the countries from which entry had been suspended recently. These include India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, Namibia, Zambia, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, South Africa, and Nigeria.
