Dubai carrier Emirates will resume daily operations on its Taipei-Dubai route from November 6.

Emirates’ flight EK366 from Dubai will depart at 2.50am and will arrive in Taipei at 2.45pm. The return flight EK367 from Taipei will depart at 10.45pm and will arrive in Dubai at 4.35am the next day. All times are local. The service will be operated by a Boeing 777 aircraft.

The additional frequencies to the Taiwanese capital will provide Emirates’ passengers increased connectivity and options to and from Taiwan.

Eligible travellers can visit Taiwan visa-free, and all inbound passengers are advised to undergo a seven-day self-health monitoring.

Tickets can be booked on the carrier’s website or app or via travel agents, a statement said.

Emirates commenced its non-stop daily flights to Taipei back in 2014, operated by a Boeing 777 aircraft. The route was later upgraded with a daily two-class A380 service in 2016.

Emirates’ decision to ramp up the current four weekly to daily flights will help drive inbound traffic by connecting travellers from over 130 destinations in its network to the city,  the statement added.
