Home UAE Dubai Dubai’s Emirates to resume operations to Muscat, Entebbe from October The airline’s global network will grow to 94 cities next month by Zainab Mansoor September 28, 2020 Dubai carrier Emirates will restart services to Entebbe, Uganda from October 1, and to Muscat in Oman from October 2. With the resumption of these services, the total number of cities served by the airline will increase to 94. Emirates is gradually resuming operations and rebuilding its network to provide more opportunities for travel. Emirates will operate to Entebbe with three weekly flights on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, expanding the airline’s African network to 20 destinations. Emirates flight EK 729 will depart Dubai at 10.30am, arriving in Entebbe at 3pm. The return flight, EK 730, will depart Entebbe at 5pm, arriving in Dubai at 11.25pm. Flights from Dubai to Muscat will operate twice a week on Sundays and Fridays. Emirates flight EK 866 will depart Dubai at 2.15am, arriving in Muscat at 3.30am. The return flight, EK 867, will depart Muscat at 4.40am, arriving in Dubai at 5.55am. Services to both cities will be operated by the Boeing 777- 300ER. Tickets can be booked on the carrier’s website or mobile app, its sales offices, via travel agents. Emirates allows customers to claim medical expenses of up to EUR150,000 and quarantine costs of EUR100 per day for 14 days, regardless of the class of travel or destination on flights undertaken until October 31, 2020. The airline has made Covid-19 PCR tests mandatory upon all inbound and transit passengers arriving to Dubai (and the UAE), including UAE citizens, residents and tourists, irrespective of the country they are coming from. Emirates’ customers can take a Covid-19 PCR test at a reduced rate of Dhs150 at American Hospital in Dubai, American Hospital Dubai Media City Clinic, American Hospital Al Barsha Clinic and American Hospital Al Khawanij Clinic (opening end September).
