Cafu has partnered with Oman-based Al Maha Petroleum to launch itself in the Sultanate, a statement said. Cafu will initially launch in Muscat before rolling out to other parts of the country. The ‘on-demand’ petrol delivery service began operations in the UAE in November 2018, where it has served over 760,000 customers. Oman remains the company’s first international market, the statement said. In the UAE, Cafu delivers fuel in both Super 98 and Special 95, which are delivered in secure, custom-built vehicles directly to the consumers’ homes, offices or any location where their car might be parked. Users need to share their vehicle location, and schedule the time of their fuel delivery through the Cafu app. Rashid Al Ghurair, founder and CEO, Cafu said, “Through our joint agreement with Al Maha Petroleum, we will transform how people in Oman fuel their vehicles by digitalizing their entire experience.” “Along with our partners, we are confident that our technology combined with our growing fleet of safety-tested and certified trucks will deliver a one-of-a-kind convenience for our customers in Oman.” “Our partnership with Cafu will revolutionize the way our customers refuel their vehicles and represents us with the opportunity to grow our market share in the Omani market,” said Hamed bin Salim Al Maghdri, CEO, Al Maha Petroleum. Cafu charges a small delivery fee on top of the total petrol price, according to the company website. The fuel delivery options include: On-demand (Dhs18) Order anytime and anywhere at a cost of Dhs18 delivery fee per order.
