Home Industry Hospitality Dubai’s Jumeirah to open Abu Dhabi hotel resort in November The resort will include eight F&B venues and a couple’s suite was a private entrance by Staff Writer May 23, 2018 Dubai hotel group Jumeirah has revealed new details of its latest property on Abu Dhabi’s Saadiyat Island as it prepares to open in November. The resort will have 293 rooms, including eight villas with private pools, 64 suites, a spa with Moroccan Hamman and private couple’s area, three swimming pools and general views overlooking 400m of beach. There will also be a total of eight food and beverage outlets, with all-day dining venue White, Italian summer food destination Mare Mare, Levantine inspired TEAN, café Al Majilis, afternoon tea and sundowner venue The Lounge, sports bar Offside and Pool Bar. The company said it was working with Trust your Water to eliminate the new for single use plastic water bottles by encouraging guests to refill at water stations. “This resort is a place like no other – there’s something for the young and young at heart. Guests can watch the sunset, embrace sunrise yoga or explore the island in all its glory by bicycle,” said general manager Linda Griffin. “Choose to relax in one of three infinity swimming pools, stroll along the pristine beach and during the turtle nesting season, there will even be a special opportunity to see the Hawksbill turtles on the 9km sweeping beachfront.” Jumeirah at Saadiyat Island Resort is set to open on November 11. The Dubai Holding unit recently signed a deal with Al Sahel Resorts to manage a resort on Bahrain’s southwest coast. It opened its first hotel in the kingdom in February.
