Home Industry Education Dubai’s ruler launches free education project The project aims to translate 11 million words of math and science material to Arabic by Staff writer September 18, 2017 A free new educational project that will reach over 50 million Arab students has been launched by the UAE’s Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum. The Mohammed bin Rashid Arabic E-Learning project was unveiled in Dubai on Sunday. The project includes a Translation Challenge, which calls on all Arabs to help translate 11 million words of math and science material to Arabic, which will be used to produce 5,000 educational videos in one year. The content is to be sourced and localised in accordance with international standards and curricula, a statement said.
