The UAE has declared Eid Al Adha holidays for federal government employees.
Federal ministries and entities will be on holiday from Friday, July 8 until Monday, July 11 to mark the occasion, the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources (FAHR) announced on Thursday.
They will resume work on Tuesday, July 12.
Meanwhile, private sector employees will also be on holiday from July 8 until July 11, with work resuming on Tuesday, July 12.
The Dhu Al-Hijjah moon was sighted on the evening of June 29 in Saudi Arabia, according to the kingdom’s Supreme Court. This marks the beginning of Hajj on July 7, followed by Eid Al Adha on Saturday, July 9.
