It is rolling out 41 transfer shuttles – 15 for First Class and 26 for Business Class – as part of an AED73 million investment. The move reflects the increasing number of flights it has on remote stands that are not connected to terminal airbridges – as well as the large number of premium passengers on board its widebody aircraft. Tony Chandler – Vice President – Product Development and Operations Improvement, Emirates, said it is constantly reviewing every aspect of premium passengers’ journeys to find ways “it can enhance their travel experience”. “With the addition of the new transfer shuttles, our vision is to extended and interpret the luxury of our onboard product,” he said. The airline will continue to offer chauffeur drive services across its network for premium passengers. Mercedes-Benz today signed a fleet deal with Emirates to provide 46 E-Class executive saloons and 20 Viano large-capacity vehicles for First Class passengers travelling to and from Terminal 3. 0 Comments
