ESI to organise major B2B online esports gaming conference next week

The online ESI Digital Summer conference will be held from August 17-21

B2B esports events company ESI will be organising an online ESI Digital Summer gaming conference from August 17-21.

The event, presented by Kinguin Lounge, will include livestreams, networking opportunities and virtual exhibition for stakeholders within the gaming industry, with over 35 hours of live content shared during the virtual conference which will focus on five key markets – one on each day of the event.

The markets that will be covered include Asia Pacific, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and North America.

The event is expected to attract over 1,200 attendees spread across more than 100 countries, with each attendee allowed to personalise their agenda and schedule.

There will be over 100 industry-leading speakers including Christie St. Martin, the CEO of Gamers.vote, Viktor Romaniuk Wanli, the founder and CEO of Kinguin, and Ian Smith, the commissioner of the Esports Integrity Commission.

On August 17, the Asia-Pacific specific sessions will be held in association with Redd+E and includes a panel discussion with the likes of Chris Tran, the head of esports for Riot Games SEA, and Sean Zhang, the CEO of Talon Esports, who will discuss the opportunities and challenges for the gaming market in the APAC region.

Motivate Media Group, the parent company of Gulf Business, is the official media partner for the Middle East-focussed session, due to be held the following day on August 18.

In 2019, the International Esports Federation (IESF) signed an MoU with UAE’s Motivate Media Group, parent company of Gulf Business, to expand in the region.

During the Middle East sessions on August 18, esports broadcast rights will be discussed. Mohammad Majali the founding partner of FATE Esports, will also discuss his orgnaisation’s deal with telecom major Orange.

The second day will also include The Clutch Digital, an event which allows esports startups to pitch their ideas and in turn secure investments and mentorship for their fledgling enterprises.

Day 3 will focus on Europe and discuss topics including esports and gaming venues, the recruitment avenues for those entering the industry and also explore the link between esports and education which today includes recognised dedicated degree programmes and modules.

Day 4 will shine the spotlight on the Latin American Market, held in association with Live Media Esports Entertainment, and will discuss the rise of mobile esports as well as the upcoming ESL One Rio 2020 Counter Strike: Global Offensive major championship in Brazil.

Day 5 will concentrate on on one of the most important esports markets in the world, North America, and will include sessions on esports betting as well as the commercialization of merchandising in esports.

At the end of each day, participants can also compete with each other in games including Rocket League, FIFA and CS:GO.
