Home UAE Abu Dhabi Etihad Increases Aer Lingus Stake Reports claim Etihad’s stake in Aer Lingus is now valued at just under €37 million by Dominic Ellis March 19, 2014 Etihad has marginally increased its stakeholding in Irish carrier Aer Lingus. The Abu Dhabi airline, which previously held a 2.98 per cent stake, has reportedly increased its stake to 4.11 per cent. An airline spokesman said: “Etihad Airways’ stake in Aer Lingus now exceeds four per cent following the acquisition last week of further shares on the open market.” In line with Irish Stock Exchange rules, the airline has notified the Central Bank of Ireland.
