Doha Expo 2023, which opens its doors to visitors on October 2 will etch its name in history as the first A1 International Horticultural Exhibition to take place in Qatar.

This landmark event will take place from October 2, 2023 to March 28, 2024, spanning six months.

Exceptional Support

Doha Expo 2023 is spearheaded by the Ministry of Municipality and is supported by Qatar’s Prime Minister, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani. It serves the Qatar National Vision 2030 which places paramount importance on environmental management and sustainable development as its guiding principles.

Doha Expo 2023 theme: “Green desert, better environment”

The theme of Doha Expo 2023 is “Green desert, better environment.”

This thematic choice reflects the expo’s overarching mission—to inspire the global community to embrace innovative solutions for combatting desertification.

A sprawling oasis

Doha Expo 2023 is spread across 1.7 million square meters.

Nestled within the picturesque Al Bidda Park, attendees will be treated to awe-inspiring vistas of and landscapes framed by waters of the Arabian Gulf. This setting promises an immersive experience, featuring ornamental gardens, thought-provoking panel discussions, enlightening conferences, captivating live shows, and exquisite art and culinary performances.

A global confluence

Held in collaboration with the Bureau International Des Expositions (BIE) and the International Association for Horticultural Producers (AIPH), Doha Expo 2023 will draw international visitors, organizers from 80 countries, representatives from the private sector, NGOs, and the general public.

Situated in the heart of Doha, this prime location offers convenient access to Hamad International Airport, Doha Port, and the Business Centre.

The expo aspires to welcome more than 3 million visitors, providing attendees with the unique opportunity to explore exquisitely landscaped gardens and immerse themselves in the rich offerings of the world-class exhibition.
