The Abu Dhabi Civil Defence Authority (ADCDA) has issued a reminder on social media stating that a fine will be slapped on entities that fail to meet fire safety compliance rules in the UAE’s capital.
The reminder is line with the UAE Cabinet Resolution N.24 of the year 2012 regarding the organisation of civil defence services in the country. According to it, a penalty will be imposed in case of the absence of a Civil Defence licence or a certificate of compliance with fire safety and prevention requirements.
The penalty for the violation (Clause 69) of fire safety regulations is Dhs10,000, the authority stated.
