Flydubai launches flights to Montenegro capital

Low-cost airline flydubai has announced the launch of two flights a week to Podgorica, the capital of Montenegro.

The flights, which include a stopover in Sarajevo, the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina, will begin from November 1.

Flydubai operated a service to Tivat in Montenegro between June and September. The route marked the airline’s first entry to the Balkan country.

“The popularity of our summer flights to Tivat has shown a continuous demand for more access to this part of the world and we are delighted to be offering flights to Montenegro on a regular basis,” said flydubai chief executive officer Ghaith Al Ghaith.

With the launch of the new route, flydubai will become the first airline to offer regular services between Podgorica and Sarajevo.
