Home UAE Abu Dhabi Fog Disrupts 14 Abu Dhabi Flights This morning sees the second round of diversions in as many months by Dominic Ellis April 27, 2014 Abu Dhabi International Airport has once again had to grapple with fog-induced flight diversions this morning. Fourteen flights were diverted to other airports due to the fog, which blanketed the airport suddenly and significantly reduced the number of aircraft that could land between 6am-8am. Flights were diverted to Al Ain, Al Bateen and Al Maktoum International Airport. The latest disruption follows last month’s “technical failure” which resulted in flight diversions. Etihad is anticipating delays to departures for the rest of the day.
