Home UAE Abu Dhabi Free entry to Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Hosn for UAE’s frontline professionals Each frontline hero will be permitted free entry along with up to three guests by Varun Godinho October 19, 2020 The Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi) said on Sunday that it has reached an agreement with the Frontline Heroes Office (FHO) to allow registered frontline professionals free access to two key cultural sites in the capital emirate. Beginning from October 21, 2020, these frontline heroes, along with up to three guests per person, will be granted free access to Qasr Al Hosn and Louvre Abu Dhabi for a period of six months. Eligible frontline workers include medical and non-medical staff in healthcare facilities (doctors, nurses, pharmacists, housekeeping, porters etc.), as well as those working in prevention and protection (crisis management, security and emergency services, sterilisation, volunteering, etc.). To avail of this complimentary entry to Louvre Abu Dhabi and Qasr Al Hosn, frontline professionals must pre-book their tickets online and present their Emirates ID upon arrival. To thank them for their dedication, it is our pleasure to offer complimentary access to two of DCT Abu Dhabi’s most spectacular cultural assets, a way of encouraging them to take some time to reflect, recharge, and reconnect with their creative sides,” added Al Hosani. A number of other entities have partnered with the FHO recently to offer incentives to their registered members. On Sunday, Etihad Airways said that FHO registered members are eligible for 15 per cent flights discounts and can access a special dedicated airport check-in area at Abu Dhabi International Airport.
