Home UAE Dubai Free parking in Dubai during Eid Al Adha 2020; public transport timings revised The RTA has said that paid parking will resume in Dubai from Monday, August 3 by Varun Godinho July 29, 2020 There will be free parking at all public parking spaces in Dubai, except multi-level parking terminals, from Thursday, July 30, until Sunday, August 2, to mark the Eid Al Adha holidays. Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) confirmed that paid parking will resume from Monday, August 3. The RTA has also issued a list of revised timings for public transport operations for the Eid Al Adha holidays. Metro Stations on the Green line meanwhile will operate on Thursday from 5.30am-1am; on Friday from 10am-1am; and on Saturday to Monday from 5.30am-midnight. Buses Dubai Bus will operate from the main stations (including Gold Souq) from 4.25am-12:29am (the next day) and at Al-Ghubaiba Station from 4.13am-12.57am. Sub-stations (including Satwa) will begin at 4.45am-11pm, except for Route C01, which will operate throughout the day from Satwa; Al-Qusais Station will be operational from 4.31am- 12.08am (past midnight); Al Quoz Industrial Station from 5.05am-11.35pm, and Jebel Ali Station from 4.58am-11.30pm. Metro Link Bus Service at Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirates, Ibn Battuta, Dubai Mall/Burj Khalifa, Abu Hail, and Etisalat will be operational from 5am-1.10am. Trams Tram stations will operate on Thursday from 6am-1am (past midnight); on Friday from 9am-1am; and from Saturday-Monday from 6am-1am. Intercity Buses Inter-city bus stations and coaches will operate from sub-stations such as Union Square from 4.25am-11pm, and Etisalat Metro Station from 5am-11pm. As for external stations, Ajman Station will be operational from 5.15am-11pm. Marine transport The Water Bus will operate at Marina Stations (Marina Mall, Marina Walk, Marina Terrace, Marina Promenade) from noon-midnight. Abra services will operate at Dubai Creek Stations, (Dubai Old Souq – Baniyas) from 10am-1am; at Deira Old Souq-Sabkha-Al Fahidi from 10am-12.30 am; at Al Seef-Baniyas from 10am-1am, and Al Jaddaf-Dubai Festival City from 8am-midnight. Ferry services between Dubai Marina and Al-Ghubaiba will operate at 11am, 1pm and 06.30pm. Service at Dubai Marina and Al Ghubaiba will begin at 5pm. The RTA added that its Service Provider Centres and Customer Happiness centres will be closed from July 30-August 2. However, its smart customer happiness centres at Umm Ramool, Deira, Al-Barsha, Al-Manara, Al-Kafaf, Al-Tawar, and the RTA Head Office as well will remain open 24/7 throughout the holidays.
