Home Covid-19 GCC Covid-19 update: UAE registers 644 cases; 781 infections recorded in Saudi Arabia The death toll in the UAE stands at 391 by Zainab Mansoor September 8, 2020 UAE The Ministry of Health and Prevention has registered a total of 644 Covid-19 infections in the last 24 hours. The new cases were detected as an extension of 71,334 examinations conducted to screen for the virus. The total number of infections in the country has risen to 75,098. With 410 additional recoveries, the total number of patients who have overcome the infection tally 66,943. The city of Jeddah recorded 62 cases, followed by Makkah (58) and Medina (51).
