GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 1,398 new cases; 520 infections registered in Oman
The death toll in the UAE has risen to 452

The UAE reported 1,398 new Covid-19 cases on Thursday, October 15.
The infections were detected following 114,147 additional tests conducted over the past 24 hour to screen for the virus.
The total number of cases has scaled to 111,437.

The country’s Ministry of Health and Prevention also reported 1,666 additional recoveries on Thursday. Consequently, there have been 103,325 patients who have made a full recovery after contracting the infection.
It also announced two deaths as a result of Covid-19 complications, taking the overall number of fatalities up to 452.
Oman
The Ministry of Health has registered 520 new coronavirus cases and eight deaths across the sultanate on Thursday, Times of Oman reported.
