Home Covid-19 GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 211 cases; 1,157 infections registered in Oman The UAE has registered a total of 339 Covid-19-related deaths by Zainab Mansoor July 19, 2020 The UAE has reported a total of 211 new Covid-19 infections on July 19, detected as a result of more than 47,000 tests conducted to screen for the virus. A total of 56,922 cases have been registered since the outbreak of the virus. Additionally, 352 new recovery cases were also confirmed, bringing the total number of recoveries to 49,269. With 577 additional recoveries, a total of 31,765 have thus far overcome the virus. Since the virus outbreak, a total of 124 deaths have been recorded. Kuwait The Ministry of Health has reported 300 new cases in the past 24 hours, raising the infection count to 59,204. There are currently 132 critical cases undergoing treatment in intensive care units, Kuwait News Agency reported. With one more fatality recorded, the death toll now stands at 408.
