The Ministry of Health and Prevention has also confirmed two additional deaths. The total infection count has now scaled to 42,982 while the tally of recoveries stands at 28,861. The city of Riyadh posted 1,629 cases, followed by Jeddah (477) and Makkah (224). The death toll has now reached 1,052 while the total infection count stands at 136,315. As many as 36,958 people across the country have contracted the virus, Kuwait News Agency reported.
