The new cases were detected as a result of 72,283 additional tests conducted by UAE health authorities to screen for the virus. The total number of cases have climbed to 65,802, of which 58,153 people have now recovered. Bahrain As of August 19, Bahrain had a total of 3,493 active Covid-19 cases, of which 38 were reported to be critical. Meanwhile, 179 people across the kingdom have succumbed to the contagion. Kuwait The Ministry of Health has reported 622 additional cases, 871 recoveries, and two deaths in the past 24 hours, Kuwait News Agency reported. The infection count has risen to 78,767.
