Home Covid-19 GCC Covid-19 update: UAE reports 479 cases, 2 deaths; Saudi registers 3,733 cases, 38 fatalities The death toll in the UAE, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia has risen to 286, 279 and 857 respectively by Zainab Mansoor June 11, 2020 UAE The Ministry of Health and Prevention announced 479 Covid-19 cases on June 11, as a result of more than 45,000 tests conducted to screen for the virus. The number of cases have now reached 40,986. Two additional deaths have been confirmed, raising the death toll to 286. The ministry also confirmed 1,217 additional recoveries, scaling the total recoveries to 25,234. Saudi Arabia The Ministry of Health has reported 3,733 Covid-19 cases and 38 deaths, its highest ever daily fatality count since the outbreak. Riyadh posted 1,431 cases, followed by Jeddah (294), Makkah (293) and Dammam (214).
