Government employees in Abu Dhabi to receive full housing allowance

Abu Dhabi’s department of government support has issued housing policies covering allowances for employees working at the emirate’s government entities and companies.

Emirati government employees living in the emirate are entitled to a full housing allowance in line with their job grade. Meanwhile, foreign nationals employed at government offices who own or rent a property are also entitled to receive a full annual housing stipend in line with their job grade.

Eligible employees will also receive an education allowance for children who attend schools in Abu Dhabi, as per their employer’s HR policies.

Employees have one year to update their status in relation to all of the policies, Abu Dhabi Media Office said in a tweet.
