Home Iran Gulf council calls for Iran’s expulsion from OIC The Council of Gulf International Relations accused Iran of harming Islamic unity by Staff Writer November 21, 2016 The Council of Gulf International Relations has called for Gulf, Arab and Islamic states to expel Iran from the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Saudi Press Agency reports that the organisation called for Iran’s expulsion due to harmful acts against Islamic unity, sponsorship of terrorism, planting of the culture of sectarianism and betrayal among Muslims. The council also cited the recent missile attack by Iran-backed Houthi rebels in Yemen that was claimed to have been targeted at the holy city of Makkah. Bahrain, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, United Arab Emirates and Yemen accused of Iran expansionist policies, violations of sovereignty and interference in the affairs of Arab states. 0 Comments
