A missile launched by the Houthi militia in Yemen landed in the Al Ardha province of Jazan in southwestern Saudi Arabia.

Colonel Mohammed bin Yahya Al-Ghamdi, a spokesperson for the Saudi Civil Defense, confirmed that a car was damaged from shrapnel but no casualties or injuries were registered, Arab News reported.

The missile was launched by the “Iranian-backed Houthi militia from inside the Yemeni territories toward one of the border villages in Al-Ardha governorate in Jazan,” he noted.

On September 15, the Houthi militia launched a missile toward Jazan, damaging civilian property, vehicles as well as injuring five people.

Saudi-led Arab coalition forces destroyed two bomb-laden drones and a ballistic missile launched by the Houthis towards the kingdom in two separate incidents in August this year.
