Featured on Time magazine and Forbes, Dorsey is considered one of the world’s top young innovators. Multitask Along with his role in Twitter, Dorsey also serves as the co-founder and CEO of Square, a mobile payments company. The service, started in 2009, allows clients to make credit-card payments with their iPhones. Create a lucrative product Twitter is estimated to have made $350 million in revenue in 2012, up from $139.5 million in 2011, according to digital intelligence firm, eMarketer. Attract high profile investors In late 2011, Saudi billionaire investor Prince Alwaleed Bin Talal announced that his Kingdom Holding Company will pump $300 million into the social media company. “Twitter is still in the process of finding the right business model. So we came at the right time,” the Prince told Gulf Business last year. “The company has already proven itself as a force to be reckoned with,” he added. 0 Comments
