This places the UAE at the top of the crude oil supply chain, making it crucial for Japan’s energy demands. In March, Japan’s total oil imports were 89.15 million barrels, up from 78.51 million barrels in February. The amounts of oil that made it to Japanese refineries, storage tanks, and warehouses are shown by the numbers above. The Asian nation uses oil to generate about a third of its energy needs.
