Home Industry Jumeirah Golf Estates appoints contractor for Alandalus project Construction on the project is slated to begin in June 2016 by Aarti Nagraj June 20, 2016 Dubai-based developer Jumeirah Golf Estates has awarded the construction contract of its Alandalus development, it announced on Monday. Sumer Contracting Company, which won the deal, will begin construction this month, a statement said. Launched in May 2015, Alandalus includes 674 “affordable luxury” one, two, three and four bedroom apartments and 54 townhouses with prices starting from Dhs 597,000. It also features retail, hospitality and F&B outlets. Completion of the project is on track for the scheduled handover set for 2018, the statement said. Jumeirah Golf Estates chief executive officer Yousuf Kazim said: “Jumeirah Golf Estates has made remarkable progress over the past two years across our residential and lifestyle offering.” Also read: Jumeirah Golf Estates mulling the launch of second phase of Alandalus residences Alandalus is located within the wider Jumeirah Golf Estates development which features swimming pools, tennis courts, BBQ facilities, gymnasium, children’s play areas and 15 lakes and wildlife and foliage along with cycling and jogging paths. Residents also have access to a clubhouse, a European Tour Performance Institute and a tennis and fitness centre. The overall project, spread across 1,119 hectares, includes 1,700 houses including some under construction and two golf courses. It also hosts the DP World Tour Championship. 0 Comments
