Kaspersky signs MoU with Zayed University to boost cybersecurity training in UAE

In a bid to boost cybersecurity training in the UAE, Kaspersky is to provide Zayed University with industry educational content, training materials and academic programs in cybersecurity via a newly announced partnership between the two organisations.

As per the MoU, both parties will also organise joint projects in cybersecurity and develop educational campaigns to enhance cyber readiness amongst the university students. The programme targets students pursuing a career in cybersecurity.

“As we work towards providing our students with the best possible cybersecurity curriculum, we are delighted to partner with an international brand like Kaspersky that has ample experience and will be able to provide our students the opportunity to learn from experts in the field and prepare them for a future in cybersecurity,” said Dr. Hany El Kadi, dean of the College of Technological Innovation at Zayed University.

“Such partnerships allow companies and institutions to come together to share their knowledge to help empower the youth of today,” he added.

With over 20 years of experience in the field of cybersecurity, Kaspersky will organise courses on topics such as reverse malware engineering and threat hunting to equip students with the knowledge and skills required to succeed in their careers.
